Dr. Betsy Murdock, lead veterinarian, graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2014.  She practiced for two years in Nevada before moving to Texas with her husband, Scott, and their dog, Annie.  Dr. Murdock especially enjoys preventative medicine, pain management and internal medicine.  When she's not working, she enjoys running, hiking and baking.


Sarah Beth McMillan, Keller Animal ClinicDr. Jessica Walters, veterinarian, has known she wanted to be a vet since she was two years old. She earned her Bachelor's in Animal Science from Louisiana Tech University and her DVM from Louisiana State University in 2017. She has a cat named Moose and a Dalmatian named Stetson. Stetson visits the clinic on occasion and greets everyone from the doctors' office. When she isn't taking care of animals, she loves listening to country music, being outdoors, her church, and spending time with family and friends. 


Sarah Beth McMillan, Keller Animal ClinicSarah Beth McMillan, practice manager, is the second of Dr. Meyerdirk's four children and has had a lifelong passion for animals.  She has worked alongside Dr. Meyerdirk for many of her years growing up.  She has a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Nutrition as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  She and her husband, Kurt, live just north of Waco.  They spend must of their free time together outdoors caring for their 3 Labradors, a cat and several cows. Sarah Beth enjoys running and doing yoga during her free time.  Emma, who most of you know and love, still frequents the clinic with her on a daily basis and enjoys greeting all the clients, taking long naps in the reception area, and eating as many treats as possible.
 

 

Nancy Stroud, Keller Animal ClinicNancy Stroud, client care specialist, has dedicated 21 years to animal care and 18 of them with Dr. Steve Meyerdirk.  Nancy grew up just down the road in Haltom City, Texas.  She is married to Laythan and they have two sons, Britt and Matt, and two grandchildren.  Nancy enjoys traveling to see the grandchildren in Florida, cooking, decorating, gardening, and working out.  She stays pretty busy!  When you are here, make sure to say, "Hi!" to Nancy.
 

Nancy Stroud, Keller Animal ClinicAnnette McKinney, client care specialist, recently moved here from North Carolina with her husband and daughter. She has a passion for all animals but has a special place in her heart for cats. Before moving here, she managed a pet shop and grooming salon in North Carolina so it only seemed natural to continue in the animal field here in Texas. She loves to do crossword puzzles and read books in her space time. Being from North Carolina, one of her favorite sports teams is the Carolina Panthers. She also enjoys cheering on the Virginia Tech Hokies and the Appalachian State Mountaineers. 

Nancy Stroud, Keller Animal ClinicJessica Strunk, client care specialist, was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and is the third of four children. She just relocated to Texas in the fall of 2018 with her boyfriend Kyle and started her dream job of working with animals. She attends college and is majoring in healthcare management. Jessica loves spending time with her golden doodle, Kobe, and watching University of Kentucky basketball.  




ParkerParker Stansel, lead technician, is a native Denton-ite and has been in the veterinary field for over 15 years now.  She has worked at clinics in both Denton and College Station and after graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism, she moved back home to Denton and jumped right back into work.  Every day is something new and different and her interests include behavior, radiology and assisting in surgery.  She is well versed in helping owners with the required paperwork to get their pets to different countries all over the world.  Parker resides in Denton with her husband Jared, her son Emerson, and one Shih Tzu furbaby-Papi.   An avid naturalist and stargazer, she enjoys camping, backpacking and anything to do with the outdoors.  If not outside, she can be found museum hopping, reading or road tripping with the family.

ParkerDJ Davidson, veterinary technician, attended Oklahoma State University and earned her bachelor degree in science/pre-veterinary medicine. Afterwards, she attended Murray State College where she received her license as a veterinary technician. DJ is a Texas native and has 2 English Bulldogs, Winnie and Ruger, and 1 cat, Nubbins. Nubbins spends her weekdays at the office wandering around and greeting clients. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, doing crafts, and going to country concerts. 

ParkerWhitney Tibbetts, veterinary technician, began her career in veterinary medicine with us in the summer of 2017. She began as a receptionist and has worked her way into a technician position. She is a native Texan and resides in Watauga with her husband, Roy, and her fur baby Ellie Mae. In her free time, Whitney enjoys yoga and walks with Ellie Mae. 

ParkerKayla Douglas, veterinary technician, is a Texas native and has grown up around the veterinary industry. Her mother has been a veterinary technician for many years, and Kayla remembers spending lots of time in the clinic as a child. She has decided to follow in her mother's footsteps and pursue her dream of being a veterinary technician. Kayla has two pit bull rescues named Abi and Lulu and loves to take walks and naps with her girls. Kayla always has a smile on her face and has a strong passion for taking care of and loving on all pets that walk through our doors. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is the ability to learn something new every day.
